Elefunk Guide - Part 4

Elefunk Guide PS3
The final part of this guide covers levels 4-1 to 4-5.

For levels 1-1 to 1-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 1
For levels 2-1 to 2-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 2
For levels 3-1 to 3-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 3
For levels 4-1 to 4-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 4

Level 4 is set in 'The Circus'.

When you first start level 4-1 you will be greeted with a message explaining that you can now swap between wooden and steel supports by pressing square, but I found this feature is not really that useful and on some of these levels you are forced to use wooden supports anyway.

The only other noticeable change is the addition of steel cable which is stronger than the normal rope used in the swamp levels, however for some of levels in The Circus you will be forced to use normal rope instead of cables.

Level 4-1 : Roll Up, Roll Up!
Girders Used: 33

Quite a simple level to start with. Just build the floor up two pieces at both ends and then flat all the way across and use the cables to support it from above.

Elefunk Level 4-1 Roll up, roll up!

Level 4-2 : High Wire Heights
Girders Used: 39

This time you can only use wooden supports and you have no rope. It can be easy to run out of supports on this level so you need to be quite efficient and use as few pieces as you can. In the pic below the final section consists of four single girder pieces in the shape of a rhombus.

Elefunk Level 4-2 High wire heights

Level 4-3 : The Main Attraction
Girders Used: 122

Now we're onto the really tricky stuff. You have three elephants and each one requires their own bridge across the whole length of the level. Start with the top bridge and get it working (when the other elephants fall and the menu screen comes up you can still watch the first elephant in the background to see if it makes it across alright), then move onto the second bridge and try not to weaken the first bridge too much, then finally build the bottom bridge and again try not to rely too much on the other bridges you've built.

The thing to notice in the picture below is that I've suspended three single floor pieces to use them as supports. There are two above the left of the bottom bridge and one above the right of the middle bridge.

(Click for full-size image)
Elefunk Level 4-3 The main attraction

Level 4-4 : Big Top Dipper
Girders Used: 59

The lower part of this level is very straightforward and easy. For the small sections where you just lay two floor pieces you don't even need to place any supports.
The top bridge is the difficult part in this level as you have no supports above the bridge. I used triangle supports to support the bridge from underneath along with a rope either side.

Elefunk Level 4-4 Big Top Dipper

Level 4-5 : The Ringmaster's Demise
Girders Used: 139

The final level, and it's a big one.
The top bridge has nowhere to attach ropes above it, so you're going to have to use the triangle supports all the way across. The only problem with the other two bridges is that there are sections which are too far away from anywhere to hang a rope and so for those parts you will need to connect two ropes together.

Elefunk Level 4-5 The ringmaster's demise
That is the end of this guide, I hope some people have found it useful.
If you spot any mistakes, can't get one of my levels to work, or figure out a better way of finishing any of the levels then please leave a comment or send me an email (using the 'contact us' link on the top right of the page).

PAIN Movie Lot?

There is currently a comic con competition on the official playstation website and as it describes the games that will be playable at comic con they mention Pain Movie Lot which hasn't been announced yet:PLAYSTATION(R)Network Showcase

Play new, unreleased titles including:
  • Siren: Blood Curse
  • PixelJunk Eden
  • PAIN Movie Lot
  • Ratchet & Clank®: Quest for Booty
...and much more!

Could this be a new level? or perhaps it's part of the advanced replay editing features that have been hinted at before?

With the Amusement Park on the horizon I'm going to guess that it's the latter but it shouldn't be long until we find out for sure. Comic Con runs from July 24 - July 27.

From the PAIN Blog a couple of months ago:

THitter:

"YouTube uploads integrated into PS3 games.
This would be perfect for Pain."

Travis (PAIN Dev):

@THitter"Remember when I said that sometimes we work on stuff that we can’t mention. Well I already said that we would do a pretty robust replay editor. Your suggestions also about where to put said replays also make sense. This would be one of those times were I said…

GREAT IDEA.

And leave it at that. Mmmmkay. You guys read between the lines pretty well. "

Elefunk Guide - Part 3

Elefunk Guide PS3
The third part of this four-part guide covers levels 3-1 to 3-5.

For levels 1-1 to 1-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 1
For levels 2-1 to 2-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 2
For levels 3-1 to 3-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 3
For levels 4-1 to 4-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 4

Level 3 is set in 'The Swamp Lands' and offers a few new challenges:

The most noticeable change is that we now have to use ropes to build our bridges. Ropes need to be placed carefully in order to gain the most strength from them, they can also be tied together to make longer ropes.

The other main additions to the Swamp Lands is 'floors' and 'obstacles'. Before you even start building supports you will have to choose your route and build the floor pieces. There will sometimes also be obstacles that you will have to avoid by building the floor over them.

Level 3-1 : Smile For The Snappers
Girders Used: 29

First thing to do is to lay your floor pieces. Then start using the ropes to support the floor from above (I coloured the ropes turquoise in the pic to make them more visible). For the long bridge you will need to connect two ropes together to make them long enough to reach the middle of the bridge. If you ever need to delete a rope just press triangle on one end (it should go red) then press triangle on the other end and it will be deleted.

Elefunk Level 3-1 Smile For The Snappers

Level 3-2 : Across The Swamp
Girders Used: 75

This is the level that seems to be causing the most trouble in the whole game. It took me a while to figure out how to do the first section where you can only attach ropes on one side, and in the end I had to use three of the six-girder suports (adding 18 to the total girder count!). I'm sure there must be a more efficient way of doing the first section. The rest of the level is a bit more straightforward, but it is still quite easy to run out of ropes so you have to be careful how you use them.

Elefunk Level 3-2 Across The Swamp

Level 3-3 : Elevate Or Be Eaten
Girders Used: 48

I thought this one was easy, especially after 'Across The Swamp'. Originally I used six of the six-girder supports but when going back to the level to write this guide I was able to alter it slightly and get it down to four.

Elefunk Level 3-3 Elevate Or Be Eaten

Level 3-4 : Hitch A Rope
Girders Used: 136

You have to link all four of the bridges together in this level. The important thing here is to make the top bridge very strong as it will be holding the weight of the other three bridges. The easiest way to do this level is to stack the 6-girder crates vertically to hold all the bridges together, but in trying to find a more efficient method I was able to complete it using only ropes.

The important thing to notice in the pic is that there is a triangle instead of a cross on the second bridge.

Elefunk Level 3-4 Hitch a rope

Level 3-5 : Ups And Downs
Girders Used: 36

This is fairly a simple level, but the last section is a bit tricky. In the picture below, the green line on the last bridge represent a single girder support. I'm sure I have been able to build that last bridge using only four ropes and the single girder piece, but I can't remember exactly how I did it, so for now I have had to use five ropes on that bridge.

Elefunk Guide - Part 2

Elefunk GuideThe first part of my Elefunk Guide went down well, but most people are stuck a bit further on in the game so I am going to try and finish it as quickly as I can.

Here is the Elefunk Guide Part 2

This time instead of the elephants walking across your bridges, they are now dropped from a height and they roll along them. You also have to make sure they collect every Golden Statue along the way. Some of these solutions are a bit messy and will normally end up with the structure collapsing behind your elephant, but your elephants should still make it to the end which is the only thing that matters.

For levels 1-1 to 1-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 1
For levels 2-1 to 2-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 2
For levels 3-1 to 3-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 3
For levels 4-1 to 4-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 4

Level 2-1 : Rolling, Rolling, Rolling
Girders Used: 0
(Thanks to gott1rott at gamefaqs for this method)

It's a bit of a cheat this, but it's the best way to finish the level so there's no point in offering a different solution. First you need to remove the dotted triangle in the picture below. Then you rotate it twice and place it where the blue triangle is in the picture.

With this level (and a few others) the elephant may slightly miss one of the golden statues due to the physics varying slightly every time. If that happens just restart and try again, it should get it after a couple of tries.

Elefunk level 2-1 Rolling, rolling, rolling
Level 2-2 : Cross the Cartouche
Girders Used: 17

This one is fairly simple. Two elephants are dropped and the bridges are at an angle, which works in your favour as instead of making sure the structure is strong enough to hold the elephants impact, you can instead concentrate on using the elephants momentum to your advantage.

As you can see in the picture below, you only need to use 5 triangle and the 2 single girders. With a lot of these levels now, the structures I built were right on the limit, so you may miss a statue by a tiny amount of just not quite make it to the end. If that happens just try again and it should work.

Elefunk level 2-2 Cross the cartouche
Level 2-3 : It's a Pharaoh Way
Girders Used: 39

This one is also very simple. You can only use triangles but that shouldn't be a problem, the main problem you might have is the elephant losing all momentum if one of your bridges is very weak. If you follow the picture below then your elephant should very slowly make it across to the exit.

Elefunk level 2-3 It's a pharaoh way
Level 2-4 : Trunks Across the Nile
Girders Used: 76

Another tough one. Each structure has to withstand the force of the elphant falling onto it and also remain rigid enough to keep the elephant rolling in the right direction. The structure I built is right on the limit, changing any of these pieces or even just rotating one will probably cause the whole thing to collapes.

Update: Now uses 76 Girders instead of 85, and actually works this time (hopefully).

Elefunk level 2-4 Trunks across the nile
Level 2-5 : Herd It Thru the Grapevine
Girders Used: 29

I had to go back and get the photos for this level again and in doing so, I was able to reduce the number of girders from 37 to 29. As the elephants fall quite fast, it is not too difficult to get them rolling over to the exit, and you don't need to build any complicated structures. The bottom right section doesn't require any supports, and the upper middle section only requires a single triangle support. The other sections just have 3 supports each.

Elefunk Guide - Part 1

Elefunk Guide PS3
Elefunk is a new game available to download from the Playstation Store. The basic idea behind the game is that you have to build structures strong enough for an elephant to cross, if you've ever played Bridge Builder or Armadillo Run on the PC then you'll have an idea of what to expect.

The game can be quite tricky in places and there are also multiple ways to complete a level, so this Elefunk Guide only contains the most efficient solutions I have found so far. Please E-mail me if you know of a more efficient way to complete a level.

For levels 1-1 to 1-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 1
For levels 2-1 to 2-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 2
For levels 3-1 to 3-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 3
For levels 4-1 to 4-5 go to: Elefunk Guide Part 4

Be warned - There's lots of spoilers if you've not played the game yet.

Level 1-1 : Simple Love
Girders Used: 26

A very simple level to start, but many people still have trouble with it as they are not used to the rules of the game. The obvious solution is to build a row of squares along the underneath of the bridge (with the stronger squares on either side) and then a triangle below that on both sides as support. This works fine, but to save on girders and increase your score you can actually remove the two middle squares and it will still hold. Here is a picture to explain:

Elefunk level 1-1 Simply Love
Level 1-2 : Up and Down

Girders Used: 30

This one is a bit trickier than the previous level but still it shouldn't cause too many headaches. You only need to use triangles with 3 on the left side, 5 on the right, and 2 in the middle.

Elefunk level 1-2 Up and down
Level 1-3 : Support Me
Girders Used: 136

Now this is a difficult one. The bit that seems to catch people out is that you should be supporting the bridge from above, not below. Use vertical columns of squares to hang the bridge from the ceiling. Then use triangles to strengthen the structure of the bridge.
I've put a blue dot inside all of the triangles to make it easier to see how to build this level:

(Click on the image to see it full size)
Elefunk level 1-3 Support me
Level 1-4 : Long and Winding Road

Girders Used: 93

It's hard enough to support the bridge on this level, but doing it with the limited amount of girders you have is very tricky.
This is the best I have come up with so far, pay careful attention to the three single girders which I have coloured green in the picture. Also make sure the orange girders in the pic are correctly rotated:

(Click on the image to see it full-size)
Elefunk level 1-4 Long and winding road
Level 1-5 : Could Be Tricky
Girders Used: 70

This level is actually surprisingly easy. You have to get two elephants to the ohter side this time but there are already some rope supports on the bottom bridge so it's not too difficult.
I used one square and then just triangles for the rest.
In the picture you can see a lone triangle on the rope bridge. I know it looks a bit pointless but without it the bridge will collapse. Also, another thing to note is that you don't need any supports for the small section next to the lower exit.

(Click on the image to see it full-size)
Elefunk level 1-5 Could be tricky

First screenshot from MAG

Sony have released the first screenshot of MAG (Massive Action Game) the big new game they announced at E3. MAG is an online shooter developed by Zipper Interactive that features up to 256 players in 8-man teams. The game is currently set for a Spring 2009 release.

From Playstation.Blog:
"Though it’s early to talk in depth about MAG, we can definitely quell some fears we’ve already heard from you about how MAG will need to compromise on gameplay to support its size. Well, it may be massive but it is an action shooter at its core. You can run around and shoot enemies, throw grenades, and drive vehicles just like any other shooter except with MAG you’ll do it with up to 256 players. The team at Zipper was one of the pioneers of online gaming on consoles with the SOCOM franchise and they’ve used this knowledge to create a brand new server architecture to make an original game like MAG possible."

Get rich playing LittleBigPlanet

LittleBigPlanet logoApparently LittleBigPlanet will allow players to charge real money for their creations. SCEE president David Reeves said:

"What we're trying to do with LittleBigPlanet is almost iTunes meets eBay in the sense that once an individual or a developer has qualified by producing certain levels or certain add-ons, they will then be able in the future to exchange these and make money out of them."

"Even if you charge less than one euro, it doesn't take many downloads if you've got a really strong LittleBigPlanet level for people to be able to make money. It's a great way for people to show others what they can do."

While it may sound like a great idea to be able to make money just from building levels in LBP, will you really want to pay a few dollars for user-created levels? And how will we know if the level we are buying is any good before actually purchasing it? It sounds like a very risky move to me but we will find out if it pays off in October when LittleBigPlanet is released.

Update:
Media Molecule have now spoken about this and have said that when the game ships all user-created content will be free. It's possible they may introduce microtransactions in the future but currently it is just an idea that probably won't even happen.

"SCEE and Media Molecule can guarantee that all consumer-generated content will be free at launch. We know how important this is to the LBP community and what we want most is for people to enjoy playing, creating and sharing their content"

"Obviously, we're also excited about the future and David was talking about how user-generated content could potentially evolve in the long term. Any decisions that are taken to evolve LBP in the future, will include the community and focus purely on enhancing the user experience."

The Last Guy - Gameplay Trailer

The Last Guy is a new and exclusive downloadable game for the PS3. It is unique in that it uses images from Google Earth to create the maps for the game, meaning it might be possible to play a level set in your own hometown.

I'm not sure exactly how the gameplay works yet, but it involves lots of zombies:

The Last Guy will be released on the Japanese PSN store on July 31st for 500YEN. It has been rated by the ESRB so the game should be released outside of Japan soon.

Play TV - Record TV While You Play

PlayTV for PS3
SCEE boss David Reeves has today confirmed that PlayTV will be released in the UK on September 10th with other European countries receiving it sometime between September and December.

Reeves also confirmed that users will be able to play PS3 games while recording their favourite TV programmes:

"It was very difficult for some of the tech guys but we had to include it in the firmware upgrade, 2.41, but it's done now."

PlayTV is a digital video recording device for the PS3 that allows users to record Freeview channels while they play games or watch a different channel. It also supports HD recording although currently in the UK there are no high definition Freeview channels.

Australia and New Zealand can also expect the device to appear early next year:

"We've got Australia and New Zealand also lined up for it in January or February, because on their digital terrestrial they haven't actually set the standards yet."

PS3 users in the US may have to wait a while yet though, as the TV standards are quite different to those in the PAL markets.

Heavy Rain Teaser Poster
One of my most anticipated games for the PS3 is Heavy Rain, so naturally I was disapointed when there was no sign of it during Sony's E3 press conference. It turns out however that Heavy Rain was shown at E3 albeit behind closed doors to a small group of journalists.

While no details have leaked from that showing, with Leipzig and Tokyo game shows just around the corner it's looking likely that Heavy Rain may soon finally be unveiled to the public.

Uncharted - Trophy Patch Coming Very Soon

Uncharted Drakes Fortune PS3
Naughty Dog have confirmed that a patch for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune has been submitted to Quality Assurance for approval and should be available around mid-August or possibly even sooner. The patch adds support for trophies, but in order to prevent people cheating and using other people's save files, you will have to play through the game again in order to unlock them. I doubt many people will have a problem playing through Uncharted again though as it's a stupidly brilliant game.

For those of you who have got every Super Stardust PS3 trophy and can't wait until August for your next trophy fix, be sure to check out PixelJunk Eden which is coming to the PSN in Japan, US, and maybe in Europe on the 31st July. PixelJunk Eden will be the first game to support trophies right from day 1.

An Update On Wipeout HD - It's Not Good News

Wipeout HD PS3

Back in April I was just finishing up GTA4 and looking forward to playing Wipeout HD in May, while I waited for Metal Gear Solid 4 to be released in June. May came and went without any sign of Wipeout HD and now two months later we still have no idea when we can expect to finally be able to play the game.

Sony Europe boss David Reeves has now spoken about the delay, but it's not looking promising:

"There is a specific technical problem with WipEout that we have to solve. I can't go into details but it is a really, really tricky technical problem that no region has been able to solve at the moment.

I think it will come out before the end of the year but it is something that was just very difficult to get to grips with."

A sensible guess would suggest these problems are related to the online aspect of Wipeout HD as review code for the single player game has been sent to games reviewers already, but nobody has been allowed to try the online portion of the game yet.

With all of these delays perhaps Sony Liverpool will be able to put an extra track or two into the game when it enventually hits the PSN later this year (maybe).

MAG - Spring 2009 Release?

Sony's big new game at E3 was called M.A.G. or Massive Action Game.

The trailer show pre-rendered CGI instead of actual gameplay footage but it gave a good idea of how the game would play. The big selling point for M.A.G. is that it features 256 player matches which are split up into teams of 8 players with the leaders of these teams being chosen based on their rank and stats.

It all sounds great but the lack of real gameplay footage suggested the game was still a long way off, but now Sony have said the game will be released in Spring 2009:

"Coming in spring will be inFamous and MAG, and God of War will be coming later in 2009"
MAG ps3 logoI think Spring next year is a little too optimistic especially when you look at the number of PS3 games which have been delayed. Wipeout HD hasn't been seen for months and it was due out in May!

Rat Race Is Cancelled

Very little was ever known or seen about this episodic PSN title. It was announced almost a year ago and the basic idea behind the game was that it would be similar to the TV show 'The Office' with lots of humour.

When asked about Rat Race today, Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida said:

"You have good memory. Yeah, maybe I talked about episodic games and that's my fault. So, yeah, we stopped it. We really liked the concept; it's like The Office TV series. It was kind of funny but we were not quite happy with how the game was turning out and there was some difficulty in development."
Here's hoping that other titles we've not seen recently, like Heavy Rain and Wardevil, don't suffer the same fate.

How To Play Bomber Mode In Super Stardust HD

Bomber mode is my favourite part of Super Stardust HD. Even the top scores on the leaderboard take under 10 minutes to achieve so it is great for having a few quick goes every now and then, but many people don't understand how to play and get a decent score so they stick with Endless or Arcade modes instead.

Here is a video which shows a score of just under 4 million, it's far from perfect (I still had 5 bombs left when I died so it could have been a much better score), but it should be useful for anyone who hasn't played much Bomber Mode yet:

Also, a little bit about trophies in the upcoming 1.5 update:

I need to talk about the v1.5 Update, specifically the Trophies. Here’s a quick breakdown of the 56 Warhawk Trophies:

There are 10 trophies based on current stats, ranks and awards and these 10 *ARE* retroactive. This is largely due to the fact that we have this data stored on our global Warhawk Server Cluster. There are 34 other Trophies that are entirely new ‘goals’ and should provide players with plenty of new challenges. And yes, Operation: Omega Dawn, Operation: Broken Mirror, and possibly a new something have new Trophies as well. Each booster pack has an additional 4 unique Trophies.

To earn the Warhawk Platinum Trophy, all you have to do is unlock the base game’s 44 Trophies…you do *NOT* have to buy any DLC to unlock the Platinum Warhawk Trophy. Forcing players to buy our DLC would be super-craptastic and completely unacceptable.

Final Fantasy XIII Is Not PS3 Exclusive!!!

Microsoft have just finished their E3 2008 press conference and overall it was a bit of a bore with very few new games announced and a lot of ideas being stolen from Sony and Nintendo in an effort to attract casual gamers to the 360. They ended the conference with a shock though, by announcing that Final Fantasy 13 will be coming to the 360! Not only that but it will launch at the same time as the Playstation3 version.

Photobucket

I don't think this will have too much of an effect in Japan and Europe, but in the US where the 360 is still very strong it is another reason for people to not choose a PS3, I'm sure however that tomorrow Sony will give them several new reasons to buy one.

Update: Square Enix are currently doing a Q&A session and a few more details about FF13 have trickled out of that:

- The 360 version will only be released in the West, in Japan FF13 will be PS3 exclusive. The reason given for this is the userbase for the 360 in Japan is too small and the effort required for localisation is too great.

- They haven't started work on porting the game to the Xbox 360 yet. The plan is to finish the game in Japan first, then afterwards they will start work on translating it to English and porting it to the 360.

- The 360 version should be similar to the PS3 version except the PS3 game will be on Blu-ray and the 360 version will come on multiple DVDs.

- They confirm that Final Fantasy Versus 13 will not be multi-platform, so it remains a PS3 exclusive.

What games could we see at E3?

E3 2008 is just a few days away now with the Sony Press Conference set for Tuesday at 7:30PM GMT. While I'm sure Sony will have a few surprises to announce and some new games will be revealed, there are lots of games which we already know about but have yet to really see. I don't think any of these have been confirmed to appear at E3 this year but there's every possibility that they could show up:

Heavy Rain - One of my most anticipated titles. I was a big fan of Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) and I can't wait to see a next-gen version with that unique story-telling method. Two years ago we got a glimpse of a casting demo for Heavy Rain but that scene will not be a part of the actual game, it was purely an internal tech demo showing what Quantic Dream were able to achive in their first three months with a PS3 dev kit.

In the two years since that tech demo we have not seen anything of Heavy Rain, but what we do know is that it will be a film noire thriller that is very dark and with mature themes. The story will also be much more bendable than Fahrenheit, so the user will be able to alter events more by playing the game differently.
Chance of it appearing at E3: 75% - Heavy Rain was originally scheduled to be released in Fall 2008. That release date seems unlikely now, but it's about time they did show something.

Team ICO's PS3 Game - Ico and Shadow of the Colossus were two of the best and most original games for the PS2. Everyone is eagerly waiting to see what epic game Team Ico are able to create on the PS3 but so far the only hint we have is a screenshot of a chain.
Chance of it appearing at E3: 70% - Sony knows that people are waiting to see the next game from Team Ico and so I'd be surprised if we don't at least get to see a teaser trailer.

God of War 3
- We know that it is in development (Chains of Olympus on the PSP even had an ad for it) but David Jaffe has moved on to other things, so it will be interesting to see how/if his absense has affected the game at all. We can expect God of War 3 to look absoloutely gorgeous especially considering how stunning God of War already looks on the PS2.
Chance of it appearing at E3: 80% - Another of the big anticipated games that could convert PS2 owners over to the PS3. We probably won't see any gameplay footage but again I'd be surprised if Sony don't have a trailer just to make everyone aware of its existence.

Wardevil - This is another game that we saw trailers for two years ago, but nothing much since then. The game will apparently run in 1080P at 60 frames a second! Developed by Digi-Guys who are also working on a CGI film that will probably be released on Blu-ray at the same time as the game.
Chance of it appearing at E3: 50% - I think it could make an appearance as it has not been seen in a long time, but then it also wouldn't surprise me if we don't hear about or see any more of the game at this years E3.

Driver
- This is so far only announced for the PS3, but it's possible that it could be a multi-platform title. Little is known about the game except that it is currently being developed bu Ubisoft Reflections in Newcastle. The BBC recently posted a small video clip that featured early footage from within the dev studio.
Chance of it appearing at E3: 50% - Another coin flip. I'd guess at a release date of late 2009, so perhaps we won't see anything until later in the year, but then again as they recently let the BBC see the game as it's being made then maybe they are ready to make the game public and show some footage?

Accidently deleted the template.

I pressed the wrong button and accidently deleted the template for this blog, so for a few days it will probably look a bit of a mess, but all of the content should still be here.

Super Stardust HD - Late Bomber Trophy

Super Stardust HD is the first game to support trophies on the PS3, and while most of the trophies are fairly easy to aquire many people are having trouble with the 'Late Bomber' trophy in which you have to get 15 bombs in Bomber mode.

So here is a quick video showing it being done that may help others:

Try and get the first two bomb carriers with one bomb (In the video I only got 3 bombs so had to use the red enemies to get the 4th bomb), then dodge everything until the next bomb carrier arrives and blow it up to get its 2 bombs. Dodge some more stuff then get another bomb carrier.

It's hard so just keep trying and you'll get it eventually.
