Warhawk - What Can We Expect In Patch 1.4?

Dylan Jobe (Game Director for Warhawk) has hinted at some of the new features we can expect to see in the V1.4 patch of Warhawk. Firstly there will be 2 new game modes that will be playable across all levels and expansion packs:

"…right now we are spending a big chunk of our time working on our next FREE upgrade which focuses a lot on 2 new game modes that will be added to all battlefields (core & boosters)

We’ve already had some initial play tests with these new modes and they’re really fun — I can’t wait to release them in the v1.4 patch.

Also working on another feature for the v1.4 patch that I can’t really talk about now…but I will be sure to include it when we unveil the v1.4 patch"

Another possible feature for the 1.4 patch is the option to sort servers by minimum rank, thus weeding out the weak:

"we are looking to add a minimum rank option in the v1.4 patch"

There is also a good chance that the next patch will make it a bit easier to rank. With the new user created skins that are going to be added to patch 1.3, the incentive of unlocking a new warhawk skin is not as attractive as it used to be and so this would be a welcome feature for the casual player:

"We have been discussing some rank-up adjustments for v1.4"

It seems that we could also see some in-game messaging or invites:

"we are looking into messaging feature updates for our v1.4 patch"

And finally, on the topic of custom soundtracks:

"we are exploring this…"
"we are looking at in-game music but we haven’t fully green-lit the inclusion of the feature for the v1.4 patch yet. The team is still investigating it."

It's great to see such strong support for a game seven months after it was first released.
There is currently no confirmed date for the V1.4 patch, but the V1.3 patch is expected to be released on April 2nd and a new 'Booster Pack' called 'Operation Broken Mirror' is due on the PSN store on April 17th for $7.99.
